Clausey for Paralegals

Review a thousand PDFs the way you’d review one.

Thousands of PDFs, one structured table. Clausey reads every page, extracts the fields you name, and cites each value to the exact page — so document review becomes verification, not transcription.

The problem

What paralegals live with today.

Extraction is manual transcription

Dates, parties, amounts, and clauses copied from PDFs into spreadsheets, one document at a time.

Scanned files don’t search

Half the production is image-only. Ctrl-F finds nothing; eyes find it slowly.

Review has no audit trail

When counsel asks where a number came from, the answer is a memory of a page.

How Clausey does it

The same engine, tuned for paralegals.

Bulk extraction with receipts

Upload the set; name the fields in plain English. Clausey fills every column across every document, each value cited to its page — scanned files included.

Custom fields for any matter

Governing law, notice period, effective date, signatory — define a field once and it is extracted across the whole production, new and historical.

Consistency checks on the set

Deterministic rules catch the mismatched date, the missing exhibit, or the party name that changes between documents.

Ask across the production

“Which agreements name Energia as guarantor?” — the list, with the clauses highlighted at the source.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How much data entry does Clausey actually remove?
The transcription step. You name the fields, Clausey extracts them across every document in the set and cites each value to its page. Your time moves to verifying flagged values rather than keying all of them.
Can Clausey read scanned or image-only PDFs?
Yes. Scanned files are OCR’d on upload and treated like any other document, so extraction, search, and citations work on them too.
How do we show counsel where a value came from?
Click the citation. The source page opens with the passage highlighted, and every extraction is logged, so the review is defensible after the fact.

Bring a handful — a stack of agreements, a scanned production, the fields you need out of them. Watch them become one cited table in a single session.
